Alter 4 features more animated facial expressions made possible by added motion axis in the head as well as enhanced dexterity.
Mr. Keiichiro Shibuya, Mr. Hiroshi Ishiguro and Mr. Shintaro Imai joined AMSL as visiting professors. The laboratory space, from its interior design to furniture, was designed by Ms. Kazuyo Sejima who designed the Art Science School building of Osaka University of Art.
AMSL will be producing performance and installation works centered around android. Production process will be disclosed to provide students opportunities to learn through practical lessons.
